Three arrested under Excise Act in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, March 30

The UT police arrested three persons under the Excise Act on Sunday. Sources said the suspects were selling liquor illegally.

According to the police, Ashish Kumar, alias Kaku, a resident of Kajheri village, was arrested from Prema Complex in Kajheri while possessing 28 bottles and 117 half of various whiskey brands. A case has been registered against him at the Sector 36 police station.

In another incident, Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Phase II, Ram Darbar, was nabbed on a tip-off from a shed near the scarp market in Hallo Majra. As many as 42 quarters of whiskey were recovered from him. The police have registered a case against him at the Sector 31 police station.

The police also nabbed a youth, identified as Vinay (23), a resident of Dadu Majra Colony, while possessing 3 boxes of Royal Stag.

A case has been registered against him at the Maloya police station. All suspects were arrested and later released on bail.

The trailer shows a comedian performing comedy in his village. Videos of this comedian named Hasmukh goes viral. Hasmukh gets an offer from Mumbai and is offered Rs 15 lakh for a show. However, the problem with Hasmukh is that his comedy connects to the murder. He is a serial killer. Without killing, he is not able to do great comedy on stage.
